White variety of Spanish origin. Very productive, with large clusters and a long cycle, with early budding and late ripening.
The wines obtained from this variety are light, aromatic and fresh, with acidity being one of its peculiarities. It is one of the varieties that make up the base cava wines, together with xarel.lo and macabeo, being the one that provides fruitiness and high acidity.
