SOILS

They are formed by sands, limestones and gypsiferous greds that rest on clays and loams. The limestone content is very variable and can vary, depending on the different areas, between 1% and 35%.

Reds: tinta del país (tempranillo), garnacha tinta and garnacha gris (main); merlot, syrah and cabernet sauvignon (authorized).

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WINES

ROSÉS
A distinction can be made between the more traditional ones, with the classic onion skin color, fresh, fruity, of medium aromatic intensity, and light and smooth in the mouth; and those of a more modern style: raspberry color, more powerful aromas and greater fruitiness in the mouth. There are also crianza rosés aged for a minimum of six months in barrel and one year in bottle.

RED WINE
Young and crianza wines are produced. The former are fresh and fruity red wines, pleasant and easy to drink. Those that have been aged in wood are quite correct and balanced. The best ones stand out for having obtained more color and concentration, for the use of finer woods and a greater expression of fruit and terroir.
