Negramoll
Synonyms: mollar (Spain, Argentina and Chile), mulata, negra criolla, negra mole, tinta de Madeira, tinta negra.
It is a red variety of Spanish origin and is mainly found in the Canary Islands and Madeira (Portugal). It is a variety of medium-late cycle of high productivity, with a very dark cluster of large size and very tight.
The wines obtained from this variety are mostly young wines without aging, fresh, fruity and with good acidity. It is unusual to find single-varietal wines of this variety, being the most common blends with listan negro or with other varieties of the Canary Islands archipelago.
