XXIV Top Wines from Spain

After the success of last year's edition, Top Wines from Spain Tasting showroom is back again in 2024.

The 24th edition of the Top Wines from Spain, the sole show segmented by wine rating, will take place in mid-November at IFEMA MADRID (Hall 14) and will be exclusively addressed to industry professionals, press and opinion leaders.

Only those wines that have obtained 90 points or more in the Peñín Guide 2025 will be eligible for presentation.

In this tasting, the specialised journalist and taster Vicent Escamilla will present, through 11 selected wines, all of them with more than 90 points in the last edition of the Peñín Guide, a journey through the four sub-zones of the DO Valencia (Alto Turia, Valentino, Moscatel and Clariano) to discover how the altitude, the origin and composition of the soils influence the wines of excellence and uniqueness.

A tasting that is an example of the efforts of the DO Valencia and its wineries and winegrowers to value the legacy of the land, through a progressive segmentation of quality. Eleven oenological references that speak of the future of wine, thanks to a look towards recovered native varieties, revalued old vines and respectful elaborations, to guarantee that the Valencian accent continues to have projection in the markets.
